I didn’t have a lot of faith that we’d see the scrappy duo from the Hole again, but Caiman and Nikaido are returning April 1, 2026. I’m hoping the trailer that I saw first on TikTok, of all places, isn’t another Ouran High School Host Club season 2 joke. Dorohedoro is an eccentric, electric story of a twisted city left to rot under the heels of sorcerers who make contracts with devils. It’s a fresh twisted tale, with season one leaving me wanting more! This is an immediate recommendation from me! I’m glad MAPPA has the time to helm the project again, and this time it’s not just going to Netflix but also Crunchyroll. I wonder if a second season will be enough to complete the story of the 23-volume manga. Does anyone else need to rewatch the first season for a refresher? It has been six years.
The gruesome zombies of Resident Evil: Requiem have been jump scaring me all week on YouTube thumbnails. Some people are finding this newest installment isn’t as scary as they were anticipating due to censorship. Japan has censored Resident Evil Requiem like a Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure episode by turning the blood and guts black. One puzzle requires players to step into the shoes of a surgeon cutting into a dead body to retrieve an artificial heart and lungs. In the Japanese version the upper toro as well as the artificial body parts are totally black, making them look like little more than anatomy toys, stripping all tension from the task. I feel like losing out on the scares you were expecting hurts any horror game, and players agree it ruins the immersion. What’s the oddest censorship you’ve seen in a game?
I accidentally started playing Umamusume at the perfect time, as the first anniversary event celebrating the game’s official global launch is in full swing! There is currently a new story event, Flying Run Up, that runs until March 23rd, 2026. It’s the first time I’ve heard sponsors mentioned in the horse girl world.
