Silent Hill Townfall releases on September 24th. Early reviews have noted some features that will help Townfall stand out from the franchise’s previous titles. Perspective is the biggest change fans will notice in this new Silent Hill. Players will experience the horror in first person, which is unusual for the franchise, which typically gives you a shoulder to peek over. Players will also notice the iconic radio that typically signals that monsters are near is now a handheld CRT TV that receives channels from the beyond. I think Silent Hill Townfall is the perfect game to start fall.
The Tokyo Game Show 2026 was filled with exciting trailers and news on upcoming games. Hideo Kojima revealed that Bill Skarsgård will star in his upcoming game, Physint. There is still not much information on the plot, other than that it’s supposed to be a successor to Metal Gear Solid. Kojima’s appearance comes after Sony pulled funding for the Physint project. The game has officially changed hands to XBOX. I’m hoping we get a trailer for this game soon! My second favorite reveal of the Tokyo Game Show is that their black cat mascot was named Midori by fans.
Sora and friends found a new world to explore and are ready to board the battle bus. Fortnite released new Kingdom Hearts character skins that include Sora, Riku, Roxas, and Kairi. Players can face off against those with darkness in their hearts using the new Keyblade melee weapon. If a player is in need of a boost, a bite of sea salt ice cream will replenish some health and shields. Add extra heart to your next Fortnite victory. I think it’s so cute seeing people emote together as Kairi and Sora.
